I consider myself a far left of center independent voter.  But I like you, Herman Cain, I like you a lot.  Your heading a pack of emotional issue driven screwbags who have no answers to the issues of the day.  999 is perfect. Practical??? prolly not.

Anyway, your recent statement regarding the Democratic Machine being behind your attacks is so wrong its mind boggling.  The demos want you to win, I want you to win, your party's nomination.  Please look to your racist brethren of the GOP.  They are leading the way and spending the money in an attempt to bring you and your foot long down (i have it on good authority) via a high-tech lynching. BECAUSE THEY ARE SCARED!

Most probably think it is Perry who is funding your "Democratic machine", but I think its the cultist Romney, cuz he wants the nomination more.

I am sure you know this, 'cause you are a smart guy, and you are just using the demos as your 'high-tech' punching bag, so that in the event you DO win your party's nomination you have something to point to and say "hey, look what they did".

Why I think Charlie Davies is a selfish tool.

Probably why I think Charlie Davies is a selfish tool.... .. when my brother broke his neck in a pool accident at a neighbor's party (where alcohol was served) he had the opportunity to sue (and was even encouraged to do so by friends and family). Did he sue? no. Why? he took responsibility, even though he was not fully to blame.. its been 3 years since that accident and he just started a part time job. he has struggled to pay bills and his mortgage... his family (wife and two kids) had to get by any way they could.. draining life savings... draining my family physically, emotionally and economically.

Did he make $300,000 a year playing a game? no.
was he able to get up from his accident less than 2 years later and run? no
My brother walks now, with the assistance of crutches, but he will always be partially paralyzed.
Is my brother a stronger and better man than Charlie Davies? Most definitely.
Is he richer then Charlie Davies will ever be? yes cause he has the dignity to take responsibility for his actions.

charlie davies take some responsibility in your life, you are lucky to be alive and make any money doing the thing you love. Some are not as lucky.

Relaunching after 2 years

A lot has happened in the last few months that has made it important that I start blogging again. Let's just say, I will have a lot of time to do nothing but blog in the near future. Give me some time (couple hours) and I will have an update published to this very blog.

Evans Attends Racist Hate Group's Monthly Meeting In Shaw

It appears Evans is shoring up his hate group vote quota by attending yesterday's ECCA.

The ECCA, for those not in the know, is the racist community association whose board was hijacked by the notorious racist, homophobic, rapist and pro-fascist Leroy Thorpe. This is the the same Leroy Thorpe who, through dirty political dealings, was able to hijack our ANC as an unelected parlimentarian and turn our ANC into an inefficient and ineffective local government body......

The ECCA, a community association, lately has taken to barring local residents and community leaders (read ANC commisioners), who do not bow in undulation when in the presence of the second coming of the prophet Mr. Thorpe.

Is this the behavior we want in an elected leader of ward 2?

Evans Looking Forward to OCFO’s Audit Committee Results

( Washington , DC ) Today, Councilmember Jack Evans attended the DC Chief Financial Officer’s introductory meeting of the Audit Committee to review the financial management and internal controls of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The Committee’s mission is to review the performance of the OCFO and its function in each District agency. Over the next three years, the Committee will provide quarterly reports on its findings and recommendations.

“This is a great step in gaining a better understanding of how the Chief Financial Officer interacts with each agency and, which controls are working or failing,” Evans said. “I look forward to reviewing the data, which will be provided in the upcoming months.”

The Audit Committee includes:

* Sheldon Cohen, Chair (Director at Farr, Miller & Washington, LLP);
* Donald H. Chapin (Retired, Director of Auditing, Arthur Young & Company);
* John Hill (Chief Executive Officer of the Federal City Council);
* James Hudson (Retired, Chairman of the JAH Development) ; and
* Irving Pollack (Of Counsel, Fulbright & Jaworski).

The next meeting of the Audit Committee will be December 20, 2007.

Not only is he spamming community "Yahoo Groups" but he is setting himself up to be the savior (if only in the eyes of the plebes of ward 2) by placing himself as far removed from the shit storm that is taking place at the OTR and OCFO. It is hard for me to believe that as chair of the committee of finance and revenue he is looking for

A little late as always

As usual I am late to game!!

I recently picked up the Peter Bjorn and John album Writer's Block. THough I'm not "into" all the songs off the album, they are a smashing groop. Ideal tracks for listening: Objects Of My Affection, Up Against the Wall and off course the crowd favorite Young Folks.

In other news I am job searching, but massive soul searching is needed before this can happen. Ever been in a rut and you are unsure of how to exit said rut? Possibly I am taking the rut stuckness out on the wife, which is unwarranted and unfair on my behalf. I need a big change!!! My pain should not be her pain!
Though I can't blame all my work issues on my employer, I just can't stand the fact that I am ignored on almost a daily basis.

Porn Porn Porn Ridge and Illegal Parking

NIMBY group demands closure of local porn palace. Zoning Board & DCRA determines establishment to be illegal and requires it to close. Porn palace thumbs nose at NIMBY group and stays open. Zoning Board & DCRA enforces nothing, NIMBY group is unhappy & the porn patrons enjoy wood and leave with large smiles.

At least there are no whores getting their tricks on in my alley, so far. This is not something I can guarantee when the establishment closes for good. So we got that to be happy about. As much as I enjoy hearing whores scream bloody murder at 3 in the AM, I tend to think that keeping the porn palace and its glory holes open will keep the whores, BJs and soiled condoms out of the alley.

(Of course I am sure that someone will accuse me of being a new comer for taking the stance of wanting to keep the porn palace open. What a minute that doesn't sound right??? {that's a shout out to my main man & neighbor rr446 [he accused me of being an activist once]})

Now if only we could keep the bastards from M & J construction from parking illegally in the alley. The bastards who drive the truck and live in the ugly green condo are complete jerkfaces. How about paying the fees like everyone else. But of course, me and my former roommate parked his piece of shit volkswagen (Maine Plates) on the property on Ridge Street currently owned by the charter school for 'troubled' boys on 6th. That is when I used to 'run' with my 'boys' up on Ridge.... 470... 4 life!!!! So anyway, I was guilty of illegally parking. But that was when I was living the transient lifestyle and I didn't own a car. Who knew I would still be in DA HOOD 9 years later.......?????

So, I don't say hello to the demolition guy who woke me from my beauty sleep with the crash boom blam of his backhoe type thingy.
So, I give the dump truck driver, who is parked on a street that doesn't allow trucks with a minimum capacity of 1 and a quarter ton, the stink eye.
So, I bitch and complain without giving real solutions.
So, I shit on people as much as possible. For no reason what so ever.
So, I'm a hypocrite and can't keep my stories straight.
So, I trip the light fantastic.
So, I find guilty pleasure from listening to American Idol in my sleep.
So, I watch you as you walk up my block after you just bought crack from the guy on the corner.
So, I watch you stumble home from a night of HEAVY DRINKING at the local bar/cafe and question (to myself) whether or not you belong in the front yard of the house you are entering. PS I am not your buddy.

Its not like you are any better than I. At least I'm attempting to find my own inner peace,
reality tv show, ultimate cheeseburger.
